Carissa One of the craftiest, giggliest, best homemaker you could ever have the opportunity to spend time with. She's definitely a globe trotter (just ask her where she's lived). She is big into nature and hanging out with kids...make sure to inquire about her fully mapped out European backpacking trip she took this summer! Seriously, this human is changing the world.
Becky Guys...Becky sends me a pic of her tortoise (Franklin) every morning...it's AMAZEBALLZZ. She's dyed my hair for the past 7 yrs in my parent's kitchen while we watch Schitt's Creek. She knows all the best BTS from SC to Harry Potter. She's gone on multiple road trips to discover the hauntings of various places around the U.S.
Filip Now this guy can cooooook. Not only is Filip an amazing cook of European cuisine (and probably a master of all spices and foods in general) but he is also a geography guru. Ever heard of Bouvet Island? Filip probably has. Oh, and ask him about his newest wood chopping hobby. If there's one guy that you need for fire building...
Demi I can see the whole world when I look at this girl. She's got a candle inside her soul and knows how to play. Our forest fairy. She's got the energy of the sun and the light of a thousand fireflies. Your pudgy pie maker besty and massage therapy guru and will cure you of all aches and pains. She has boundless freedom and a sing song spirit. Andddd she plays the trumpet! WOW factor.
Sam Known for being the funniest in the group...and that knowledge does not disappoint. With a care-free attitude and always a witty joke, this guy's creativity doesn't stop at his directing and editing work. Be sure to ask Sam where his last adventure is...you never know where in the world he will be on a Tuesday at 2pm. I'm surprised he knows where he is sometimes.
Stef This chica knows how to know someone! The first girlfriend of Kailey's I truly approve of HA. She's one of the best moms I know and encourages barefoot play (rock the fuck on). She'll ask you the best questions until the sun goes down and comes up..and goes down again. Her sense of humor is..spot on.
Christine Where to begin with this gem of a human. You can already tell she lights up a room with her SMILE. One of the most humble people I know, yet she works on TV shows YOU WATCH every day. She is always first to get on board with any adventure and is a YES person through and through. Winner of the best expressions including her "GTFO" surprised face.
Ben Ben is probably one of the wittiest writers I've met. He's a rockstar scripty (ask him for the definition if you don't know) and his daily reports are beyond funny. I don't know how he keeps a straight face. If I were him I'd be laughing at my own words 24/7. After a long day we all need a little more Ben in our lives.
Jen Holy shiznitzel...does Jen have stories. I once told her to go find a specific traffic cone amongst traffic cones in the middle of a street in a town she'd spent an hour in. She came back within 45 minutes. If you can bring one thing to the Island, it better be Jen. Ask her about the time she ate a lizard (?), iguana(?), prob both...This woman gets sh!% dunnn.
Ali Ali will ALWAYS greet you with a smile but I think she'd also punch you in the throat if you're being an idiot. She's a powerhouse and she knows what it takes to make change happen. She has big ideas shared with an awesome personality. This girl is and will continue to do amazing things. And for the LOVE OF GOD, thank you for bringing female DP representation to Wisconsin.
Jared I know nothing about Jared except that his friends describe him as: TBD (HAHA)
Monica If there's anyone who knows how to psychoanalyze and FULLY ENJOY TikTok and romance novels best, it's Monica. She will be the best dressed for every themed party and will teach you how to properly eat cheese curds. She's also a music junkie and she's simply the most comforting to talk to when you're dealing with anything difficult.
Katy I know nothing about Katy except that she looks pretty damn flexible and her friends describe her as: •adventurous •driven •spontaneous
Jack Certified genius. His brain is like a Möbius strip of rooms all folding into each other at the same time in rotating motion. I can't tell you how many podcasts this guy listens to a month but....yah. His eyes were made for cinematography, fashion and all things aesthetic. If he's spiky towards you, just punch him in the neck and you'll also find out how soft he is. Let's be real, he loves Coco and Paddington Bear.
Shiva Shiva is calm, cool and collected. She is an absolute delight to spend time with and one of the smarties in the group! She's a PhD studying...peptides(?) Shiva....please we need you to inform of us of REAL research so we don't have to rely on lousy journalism to paint horribly biased pictures of reality.
EQ Ed Quamme baby. Literally GREW UP in the house Kailey (above) bought HA!! Makes YT videos of himself baking Norwegian sweets. He fixes pendulum clocks...look these up. Frequently travels to Montana to enjoy nature there. Will fix any house problem you can conjure up. Once he fixed my AC with a butter knife! WTF!? Best friends w/ << Nick
Nick This is one of my best friends. He's a lover of rocks, motorcycles, and MOVING EVERY SINGLE YEAR (his poor wife). He's always got a project going on. He will tell you anything you need to know about WWII. He has a heart of gold and will treat you like his own kids. I fucking love this man. He and Ed (if coming) will be in the RV at a nearby campsite. Best friends w/ Ed >>
Hunter If someone knows how to make you feel at home, it's the H man. H will provide all necessities to be comfy and have a good time. From warm welcomes and good food to cozy blankets and movie nights, you'll never want to leave. He also knows how to throw a rocking party, whether it's on a pontoon or dressed as a priest. You can win him over with a mixed berry tart ;)
Jake Within 30 seconds, you'll discover this guy's genuineness. I wish more humans were as curious about the people in front of them. No wonder he's such an amazing storyteller. He's one of the most caring and present people I know. and laughs at all the right moments. Please sit down with this human for a conversation sometime and 100% watch one of his documentaries.
Mom This is my mom. She's not coming camping, but I just love her so much (and I needed another box to finish my grid). She's the best, even though she grounded me for everything when I was a child. Other nicknames I've given my mom include: Groupon Coupon Gray Poupon and Sausage.
Colin We won't know if Colin is coming camping until we're already camping...I don't think he'd have a plan if he himself was calendar. A pro snowboarder, he's traveled Europe to the point where they should just grant him citizenship already. You can find him riding around on his new motorcycle. Typical.
Matt Holy shizznitzel how to put a tiny A$$ caption for this dude. I'd love to see a painting of this guy's SIX THOUSAND lives. This guy will make a home ANYWHERE. If adventure and freedom had a face, Matt's would be it. I mean...does his pic not say it all? Also, this guy is an insanely good photographer. And don't get him started on reality (or do ;)).
Kailey "Burk" Woman of all plants, science facts, and psychological thrillers. She'll make you a mean s'more if you ask her to. Don't try to beat her in an athletic competition. She'll whip your A$$. BTW she's Ana's pong partner for life so don't even ask. Oh and she makes the best corn ice cream so don't try to outcompete her in that department.
Heidi Wow. What a treat to have this lovely lady with us. She will greet you with the biggest smile you've ever seen and inspire you to become your own artist and will immediately make you her family. She is the epitome of the phrase "strangers are just friends you haven't met." Ask her about her sick farm house and her paintings!!
